Your presentation was inspirational, well presented, and very encouraging. I could see people in the audience were drawn to you and touched by what you had to say. Your words of wisdom have certainly made an impact on our lives.
~Mary Jane Norton, Connected Catholics
At our invitation, Donna Doyon has come to the South Portland center of Women, Work, and Community to talk to career exploration classes about making presentations. The class participants enjoyed her style and found the information helpful. They especially liked Donna’s sharing of her own story of being a shy person, and her demonstration of how she overcame that so that now she is able to make public presentations. What a role model!
Donna has a relaxed, informal style that puts her audience at ease. She is clearly enthusiastic about her work with Toastmasters, and an excellent ambassador for the organization. I would heartily recommend her.
~Carolyn May, Workforce Development Coordinator
Your message was inspiring and important. We now recognize, more than ever, the importance of being able to address groups and conduct presentations. More important, you showed us a way to improve these important skills, in a non-threatening environment.
~Richard Todd, Unemployed Professionals Group
Your message of celebrating our children’s personality differences while appreciating our similarities was especially inspiring. Certainly, for those in attendance, light was shed on many a frustrating parental moment! Thank you for this refreshing perspective on why our children behave the way they do and most importantly, how we can use this insight to improve our family relationships.
~Carol Jo Morse and Jan Born, Co-Presidents, Wescott PTA
