And then it happened...

At a family Christmas party, my mother-in-law asked me to read a poem to honor my husband's grandmother. I agreed, but almost immediately regretted it. I didn't know how to speak in front of people. My face gets red, my hands shake and my voice trembles when I try.

Well, the experience was WORSE than I expected. I swore on that day that I would never, ever speak in front of a group of people again.

A New Vision

But then I did. I joined Toastmasters International, a group which allows people to develop confidence through public speaking. What a wonderful experience! Not only have I survived the experience, I have reveled in it. And with this confidence, came a new dream. The mission I know God meant for me
